Mysterious Smile of a Buddhist Image (Numb Remix) (06:34) https://soundcloud.com/room-full-of-records/sets/galax_mysterious-smile-of-a-1 INFO GALAX has been formed since 2005 by Mandog (RFOR001) & Hiroshi Hasegawa (ASTRO, ex.C.C.C.C.).After that, Hiroyuki Higashi (Acid Mothers Temple) joined GALAX. Acid Mothers Temple is the world famous three pieces band of Japanese Psychedelic Rock. A mini CD album containing a song "Mysterious Smile of a Buddhist Image" was released in 2006. Although 7 years have already passed, the song is still brilliant and hasn't lost its novelty. More than 23 minutes recording reminds us of some Kraut Rock and Psychedelic bands like CAN, Gong etc.. At the same time you should check Side-B Numb novel remix. Numb has run his own label, since 1997.He learned sound manipulation and interacted with many famous artists in NY, a city which was exciting enough to attract everybody, from the late 80's to the early 90's.When he came back to Tokyo in the early 90's, he gained a job of creating tracks for many famous Japanese hip-hop bands, which are still appreciated as masterpieces. His latest live performance was admired by CHANNEL for his up-to-date sounds and he appeared on a show. As this remix has very solid and powerful sound owing to his unique talent, it has won great acclaim in many genres other than house-techno. FEEDBACK early tastemakers quotes Love this record. (Max Essa) From the deep, dope, psychedelic and sublime 23mn soundscape masterpiece jamming journey from the 3 great Japanese psychedelic musicians in trance taking you to the Buddha's nirvana, to Numb's very good powerful and minimal deep electro and industrial re-interpretation, this EP reflects the deep mystic and the free experimentation sounds of the truly exciting music Japanese scene! (Alex From Tokyo) I am listening to this right now and absolutely loving it! (DJ Cosmo) Awesome. It's great! Would it be possible to get a promo to play? (Tim Sweeney)
